Stylist – Styling Services
Styling Services help women feel confident and prepared for job interviews, the workplace, or special circumstances. Volunteers in this program provide personalized styling support in our boutique, guiding clients to select professional, confidence-boosting outfits that align with their goals. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping clients feel empowered and ready to succeed.
Mentor
As a volunteer Mentor, you’ll provide guidance, encouragement, and support to women participating in our programs. Mentors help clients build confidence, set goals, and navigate challenges, offering a listening ear and practical advice based on their experience. This role is flexible and rewarding, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in someone’s personal and professional journey while fostering lasting connections.
Event Support
Event Support Volunteers help ensure our events and fundraising campaigns run smoothly and create a welcoming experience for all participants. Responsibilities may include assisting with event planning, setup and takedown, welcoming guests, supporting registration and check-in, distributing materials, and providing general assistance throughout the event. This role is a great way to get involved, support our community, and contribute to the success of our programs while having fun and meeting new people.
Peer Support Ambassador
Peer Support Ambassadors play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for the women participating in our 12-week Set Up for Success program. Ambassadors act as a liaison between Dress for Success Kelowna, facilitators, and participants, ensuring workshops run smoothly, clients feel supported, and facilitators have what they need to deliver a great session.
This is a hands-on volunteer position ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and passionate about supporting women in their career and personal development journeys.
Are you a Workshop Facilitator or Speaker who wants to make a difference?
We’re always looking for passionate facilitators to lead our Set Up for Success workshops. If you have expertise in career development, confidence building, digital skills, financial literacy, or related areas, this is your chance to share your knowledge and make a lasting impact.
Our workshops run in multi-week cohorts, with flexible daytime and evening options. Facilitators can choose the dates that work best for them, making it easy to fit into your schedule. If you’d like to discuss what you could offer our clients, email programcoordinator@dfskelowna.org
