There were moments in my career, especially as a newcomer to Canada, when I faced uncertainty, self-doubt, and setbacks. What kept me going was a combination of inner resilience, my son’s future, and the incredible support system around me.
First and foremost, my son has always been my greatest motivation. I want to show him that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones to growth. Knowing that my perseverance would shape his perspective on resilience and determination gave me the strength to push forward.
Secondly, organizations like Dress for Success Kelowna played a vital role in my journey. The mentorship, workshops, and unwavering encouragement from the team and the inspiring women I met reminded me that I wasn’t alone. Seeing other women overcoming their struggles and thriving gave me hope and renewed confidence.
Through it all, I learned that success isn’t just about reaching a destination—it’s about embracing the journey, finding support in the community, and believing in your own potential.
